One person injured in shots fired during an attempt robbery

Surrey RCMP responded to reports of shots fired in the Guildford area and one person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

On February 18, 2024 at 6:23 pm, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of shots fired at a Jewelry store in the 15200-block of 101 Avenue (see previous release: 2024-02-18). Police arrived on scene and determined an attempt robbery had taken place and one person was shot by the suspects who had fled the area prior to police arrival.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing and Police are collecting CCTV and witness statements in the area.
