Police seek assistance identifying suspect

Do you recognize this man? If so, police would like to identify him as part of a stolen vehicle investigation.

On Sept. 17, 2024, the Kamloops RCMP Detachment received a report of a Dodge Ram pickup truck stolen from an address on Kelly Douglas Road.

The next day, the truck was located behind a building on Glenwood Drive and surveillance video captured an image of a man observed driving it, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson. Police are releasing the image in the hopes that someone will identify him and help further the investigation.

The man was wearing brown overalls, a black t-shirt, and sunglasses on his head. He was spotted in the area around 6 p.m. last Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information related to this investigation, is asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2024-31014.
